I brought art supplies to the Habitat for Humanity Chile building sites and worked with the children and other family members to create art projects for their newly built or remodeled spaces. The other volunteers would join in the art creation while they were taking breaks from building. This gave the volunteers and families a space to communicate with each other in a relaxed environment and the children something to do while the construction was underway.
